How Solar Power Works

When your solar is not working the grid supplies power to your home.

Solar panels generate direct current “DC” power.

The solar electricity then powers your home first and sends any left to the grid.

This DC power next travels to an inverter which changes the direct current to alternating “AC” current. This is what our grid and homes utilize.
